This would be my first “real” dig, I suppose. Never heard of Charles Wuorinen before. But that’s the beauty of it all. I have an idea of what it’s about. I’m very much familiar with Nonesuch. Art was tacky (although also deep and surreal when you look at it another way) the way art was when I was a kid. And that’s how it’s done. That’s how I discovered many artists before the “digital” revolution. And I’m very much determined to do it that way again. I’m not gonna get rid of my iPod or my digital music collection. But I do plan on going back to my roots. At least some aspects of it. Feeling the thrill of the hunt again!
