Dr. Feelgood

Ever since I had my stroke six years ago, I’ve been feeling this needles-and-pins on my right, supposedly writing arm. Doctors who check up on me said it will come back to normal after about six months. Six months! SIX MONTHS!!!! But it’s been six years now, Doc!!!!

I’ll never trust doctors again. Specially those doctors who seem unhealthy. They really need to up their ante by practising what they preach.

Like this doctor!

Honeymoon Bike!

Just like what the title says, right now I’m in my umpeenth honeymoon with my bike. Just thinking about six years ago I was having a stroke which left me paralysed from my neck down for some time. I still feel the needles and pins on my supposedly dominant side (my right), especially my arm.

Man! I wish I’m riding my bike now!

I’m still typing with my left arm now. But I’m getting faster. Sometimes I don’t even look at the keyboard – like we were taught in school before. Practising it like a secretary.

But now, I fell in love with biking again. And my wife knows it. She even bought me a new 1x crankset.

Well, hello there, beautiful!

Wish I could ride it tomorrow to “celebrate” my re-birthday! 😉

Bakers Dozen: Biking Mixtape

Twenty-seven months ago I had an ischemic stroke. So, right now I’m still recovering from it. Naturally, my DPT asks me to wake up early to catch the morning sun and to exercise. What started out as going to the garage to walking around the block to full on jogging quickly turned into me biking. And the last time I biked was during the late eighties. Right – thirty years ago!

Of course the very first thing I did was create a playlist for me on my phone to listen to while biking. These are some songs from that playlist:

Happy Anniversary To Me

In a few hours from now would be the first year since I had a stroke. I still remember it like it happened yesterday. May I never get sick again.

This was the last picture that I inadvertently took. I didn’t think that the GoPro was on, I think.

And this song was from the album I was playing last . (Big Audio Dynamite)
